Meet the artist
I am Andy Brown, a freelance artist from California currently studying at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I work primarily in digital illustration as well as world building, developing stories and characters to explore themes related to morality, personal issues, and other ideas that challenge the human condition.

My Story

Art and storytelling helps me communicate my ideas and desires. I create my work because it brings me joy and has helped me navigate the world around me when more traditional tools fail me. I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, so finding strategies that worked for me was essential.
My art and writing are my methods of understanding my place in the universe, how I can influence it, and how I can continue to entertain people.
I’ve worked as an art teacher in small studios, primarily working with children who are interested in art, one of those studios being Marvegos Fine Art School. I also tutored beginner artists to help them discover their own personal art styles, and I’ve been doing commission artwork for several years.
